Dual GSM 3G audio interface

There are situations where radio reporter needs to urgently transmit its live service, but are not available fixed telephone lines nor satellite link.
To remedy any situation, the Elman has produced Dual 3G (Dual GSM updated), a device that allows connection to the studio by the GSM 3G telephone network by an excellent
audio quality. Dual 3G has the same functions of the GAI (GSM Audio Interface) produced by the Elman, but it transmits two different audio signals on two separate channels, in practice it contains inside a double GAI.
Also in the front and a USB connector it was included to connect to a PC to function as both modems as receiving GPS data.
To enable a single GSM a switch on the front is inserted.
The speed for data transmission are the following:
- HSDPA - Max. 3.6Mbps (DL)
- WCDMA - Max.384Kbps (DL), Max.384Kbps (UL)
- EDGE Class - Max. 236.8kbps (DL), Max.118Kbps (UL)
- GPRS - Max. 85.6Kbps (DL), Max.42.8Kbps (UL)
- CSD - GSM data rate 14.4Kbps - WCDMA data rate 57.6Kbps - WCDMA 64kbps CSD for Video call
By Dual 3G you can send your radio service quickly and from anywhere in the world where there is available a GSM telephone network 2G and 3G.
This little equipment, useful into every van equipped for broadcast audio and video exterior shot, it can also utilize GSM phone net as an usual phone set line using an usual BCA receiver and the GSM full duplex phone signal change over into a 4 wireless usual conference circuit to connect to audio set.
One of the great advantages of Dual GSM is the ability to talk using a professional microphone and listen to the returning directly from a loudspeaker without there being any interference or triggers due to the control circuit of a DSP (Digital Signal Processor) built-in, this allows to achieve interviews without having to provide an headset.
The Dual 3G contains two internal 3G GSM modules (working all over the world) whose functions are controlled by keyboards and displaies LCD on the front panel, rear panel, is allocated to the antenna connector (SMA female adapter with FME male).
3G Dual is made of a metallic container tall 1RU 19 ".
